I have made several wings past years all just have 1 layer of carbon and epoxy laminated ply, damn things are indestructible. Recently laminated 1/4 inch XPS yes the pink stuff with a wood insert where the bolts and hand pressed/pegged carbon on with 2 layers of glass over that, that also seems indestructible light and it floats.
Little wing and its big brother.
What alumimum and size did you use for your fuselage?

The load on the wing is not distributed evenly, it is linearly increasing towards the center. Therefore, the optimal design is something like:
- 4 layers (each side) at the center 1/4 center piece
- 3 layers covering 2/4 center piece
- 2 layers covering 3/4 of the wing
- 1 sheet at the wing tip area.
Agree!
Found on my 3D printed ones that more layers, infill is good, especially near the centre. Next time I'm doing cubic infill to at least 25% on the centre and then a bit more sparse the further out it goes.
