You guys are kidding, right?
It is not about making a vacuum, but maintaining it for many hours. The fast epoxy is a bugger to work with for foil wings. I ruined complete mast with mid fast epoxy, luckily saved the core.
Ask yourself how much carbon etc costs and how much is a fridge compressor (which sometimes 'grows' on a side of the road

My vacuum pump is 12*10*10cm. Half the size of a toaster.

Just get a vacuum pump off ebay...less than $100 and they can run all year non stop. Fridge compressor thing is maybe cheap but not worth the hassle. Carbon is expensive and you will need a lot of other consumables to make anything good anyway.

Actually I feel the opposite.
Have both, industrial General Electric lab vac pump, scored for 50$.
And a mid size fridge compressor for more $$.
Using only a fridge compressor b/c it is extremely quiet and can run non stop pulling the vac continuously. Both have term protection, which's a bugger sometimes!
The GE needs lubrications after 3y, or 1y heavy use. It is noisy as hell when left to run overnight...it pulls way more current, something not to take lightly.
