Hello all,
I'm looking for some ideas to create protections for my hydrofoil parts, masta, fusulage , wings and stabilizer.
Which method, materials you and so on do you use?
Thank you all, be windy!

Old wetsuits work well for material.

Agreed, I made my first few wing covers out of wetsuit limbs. Super ghetto, just a pair of scissors, tied a knot at the ends. Bam! I used foam padding and duct tape for a much more tailored set as my second set of covers. That was actually a pretty slick set, and I'd do that it again in a pinch, but when I bought a nice foil it came with a super dope set of custom covers. I really appreciate that!

Hey, bb615. There was a discussion of this a few months ago. Try the "search" feature.
One idea in that thread that seemed clever was using old automobile windshield sunscreens. Once they get old, they get flimsy and aren't much use for screening sun rays from a windshield. But they're useful as cushions for foil parts. Cut 'em and stitch 'em to size. Good idea that I can't take credit for.....don't remember who suggested it.

After frustrations with poor luggage handling at the airport, I’ve decided to chase a totally new method of protecting my foil.
I’ve made an “exoskeleton” that attaches to the foils. No part of the wings can make contact with the ground, as it’s all constrained from the fuselage.
This is really a Lift foil issue, as they don’t break down from their fuselage. I wish they didn’t ride so well, it would be much easier to sell them and look for something comparable the does break down better for travel.

Pool noodles work well, just cut them to the length needed, the slice to the middle so it can be slide on the wing or mast edge

Pipe insulation with linear pre cut groove for S T R U T, secured with velcro, costs almost nothing!
As mentioned old wet suit, zippers removed, for hydrofoil "airplane" ie F wing, Fuse, R wing, works just fine.
