If you want to do a proper repair.....

Firstly, use a Dremel tool with a cutting disc to carefully cut a hole in the laminate layer around where the crack is (about 5mm each side or more to remove the damaged laminate).

Next you have to make sure you dry out the core. Groove boards have an EPS core so suck up water. You can dry it out by a repeated cycle of putting the board somewhere warm with the hole facing down, the air inside the core will expand and force the water out. When it stops dripping, put it somewhere cold. Then repeat the process until no more water comes out, after which you’ll need leave it in the warm for a day or two so the area you’ve cut out is dry. If you continued using the board after the damage had been done you'll be surprised just how much water comes out.

Cut 4 patches of carbon about a cm bigger than your hole. Using a scalpel, run it underneath the laminate all around the hole. You need to do this because you are now going to wet out two of the patches and using a spatula or small knife, tuck the patch underneath the laminate evenly around the edge of the hole. Wet out the other two patches and apply those to the outside of the hole and laminate. When cured, fill with a mix of resin and glass bubbles, sand to fair in and spray on a finishing coat of paint for an invisible repair. Good as new.

Alternatively, leave the crack as it is, dry the core as above and apply a large patch of helicopter tape over the area. Helicopter tape sticks really well and will form a watertight seal. I’ve done this on boards where a ding is not in a stressed area, eg the nose and its worked very well.

I would Dremel out a gouge, get epoxy putty such as waterweld and put it on, sand and ride...or throw a patch of fiberglass or carbon on it after then sand and ride...

I'd first check to see if you can get a warranty replacement because that little bit of orange stuff looks like a defect. Hard to tell from just a photo though. Maybe it came from whatever you hit?

When you say "leave the crack as it is", are you saying don't open anything and let things dry through the crack?

Thanks for everyone's helpful comments.

tell us the size of it. that,'s the reason RichR2 wrote that.....I think.
it seem very small. less then 1/2" x 1" inch (10mm x25mm)

the orange piece seem to come form the impact objet on the board????

The water will come out of the crack without cutting it ( after all that's the way it got in) but it wont dry out as well, but well enough for 'make do' repair using the tape.
The reason for opening the crack up was to allow for a 'proper' repair
