My take on the rear line trim adjustment. No clamps or need for friction to hold it in place. Been using it for about 20 years. I like it.
Nice idea, i like it!
What is the center line ring on this bar made of?

yes very clever ; I did not find a way to keep the turns in place when you pilot the kite by turning the bar and you found one nice method ... like it as well

I prototyped a rear-line adjuster a while ago, that replaces the bar floats. Which means it would work with pretty much any bar.
It would allow 20cm of trim on each rear line by turning the red adjuster nut. The black shuttle would connect to one line end and the other line end to the screw body.
The adjuster contains detents which keeps the adjuster in place as long as there is line tension.
I never took it any further but it may be of interest to others here.

That center line ring is a Holt fairlead. I used to pay 12-25 dollars for them. I don’t unhook while kiting so it doesn’t matter much to me. I bought a few outdated carbon bars way back for 20 dollars each, drilled the ends (didn’t know if they would even last a few months) and added the fairlead. It works out very well for me.
I remember a swiveling fairlead in the past but haven’t seen one in a while.

Is that it? It is hard to see from your photo.

The articulated metal one does look like lines could get hung up on it though...
