Why so much focus on condoms when there are also balloons on every market. You know balloons are made for keeping pressurized air inside and to be blowed..

I have seen someone (German) adding inflatable bladders to a Peak, inside the outer cells.
It seemed to work making the relaunch easier, but I cannot retrieve the video.
Any clues?

The conclusion of the video is it does not work because the condom blocks the water from running out.

Also by now several hybrid kites are on the market.

That is the one I was looking for.
My thought is that one should not reach a conclusion until a bladder that fills the whole cell has been tested.
This is because the condom fills about 1/3 of the volume that the water can get in. No empty space, no water.
The Moskito KS back in 1999 had these (+condoms). They were efficient but a chore to inflate due to their volume.
I will try to get my hands on 2 if these ballons to test them on my Peaks.
