I fixed the problem with the touch screen getting triggered by water hitting the outside of case. I tried the screen lock app and it still did it, so I put a few layers of thin acylic over phone screen and it solved the problem. The app works great and I love the big display and real time data...All you need is a old phone(or new) and a waterproof phone protector.. I will definitely buy the case when available

What exactly is the point of sticking your phone on your board when it could just be safely inside your wetsuit? I guess live jump recording will be my answer...?

The Surfr app uses the smart phone's internal sensors (accelerometer, magnetometer and gyroscope) to determine when you leave the water and when you land to more accurately record jump height.
If you put your phone inside your wetsuit/drysuit the inputs to these sensors are largely dampened, so the app can't record the takeoff and landing as accurately.
The Surfr App does have a "Wetsuit Mode" but it's not as accurate.
printed housing to be used with waterproof cover for launch box. it will be screwd instead of the handle (i do not like gluing spmething on my board) it is not 100% waterproof because of porosity of 3d printing therefore i ll buy the original one once availble again.
but safe enough after 12h under 0,5m water only 1 mm pf water inside
btw very good app i do not call it „poor“ of something...
Surfr mount is out of stock. I just tried it on an old iPhone 7 in wetsuit mode and works reasonably well, but I wanted to mount the phone to my board.
