Dpower line material

Postby clopez1976 » Mon Jul 06, 2020 6:03 pm

Hi there

I would like some recommendations. I have to change Dpower line from GA Kite Bar, and I notice that the Dpower line is not the same material as my Dyneema cord. Does anyone know what exactly the cord is using currently in Dpower line? There are Dynema with Cordura cover, do you recommend me this kind of line?
Waiting for some comment

I had the same Problem: Gaastra X5

I ordered the Liros Depowerline: 4,5mm, 5,0mm, 5,6mm

The 4,5mm seems to be the one (closest to the original).. but did NOT change it until now -> no practical experience.

Found some Data for the Clamcleat, but also not sure if this is correct.

I like using amsteel. In my experience, amsteel lasts much much longer if you bury the entire line into itself by using a fid. If you don't, the line is hollow and the fibers will wear prematurely.
