The brummel on the left is the one in the video. The one on the right would have a much nicer bury, but as nixmatters points out it is impossible to make without rebrading the line.

Spent like 20 minutes yesterday trying to figure out how to do it with a double-ended pigtail. It's not possible without at least one bitter end, which means it's not possible :lol:

But if you start with only one end of the pigtail done then you can do it. And maybe this is the best way to make a loop:

That's what I did in the pic. I didn't say that you could do two brummels this way though, as nixmatters presumed. It is not obvious that this is possible so I'd need to try it to see. This is turning into a splicing puzzle thread...

Haha No, you said "no sewing needed", but sadly not true, at least one of them needs to be a straight bury.
