See you like block to block trim. If you ever need to change out the cleat it is worth knowing that clamcleat now have a cleat with a hollow under it (like a bridge) that would allow you to ditch the pulley just above the cleat. Much neater than the old cobra cleat imho but it needs the line mount as well.

I copied Evan’s front line attachment and single line safety. I had the knot pull thru twice so added the stopper ball. Works like a champ!

I used clear PU tube cover on the safety line. Keeps it from wrapping in or around the cleat. It’s a tight fit where it’s spliced so I don’t worry about sand and not loaded anyway.
Think the loop in the flagout line was too thin if it slipped through. It needs to be a loop with a second line spliced through the loop. Both at least 1.7mm thickness (sk99 500 or sk75 300)

Also making a small eye/loop for the flagout to pass through at the clamcleat makes it tangle way less.

@knot_moving:
depower made nice and solid from easy parts, like that...

QR is a good choice to go special like Evans QR in my opinion...

do you have a stopper on the safety line? how do you stop it travelling up the line to the kite?

what is your reason for changing the high split... equal lines?

what about rebels requiring high Y to fly properly or are you using 2018+ models?

to save carrying spare bars everywhere I have been converting a north bar to be able to use 4 or 5 lines, i have rebels & dynos so i copied the 2018 bar set up, but added a loop in each centre line at 13 & 14m fromm the kite so i can use an M4 D shackle as a V distributer at the correct height when using rebels

Safety in Use.jpg
Hello together,
here a little screenshot from the described sleeved microhole safety in use.
I see no wear since the last 10 or so autum sessions.
Remark: You see the 90° turn of the flying lines going through the Microholes first and then connected to saftey line on one side and the other to a little sleeve only.

I would say: It works as expected - I like it.
Update April 2022:
Works like a charme, still.
Dont want to use any other safety system on my bars...
No stress on lines at all.

^^ Thanks for the update. It seems wear rates on dyneema to dyneema contact is low as long as it is not moving fast enough under load to generate heat. Any idea how often the system has been flagged ?

Mostly none bejond regular release checks (under load, to test this).
I would say 20times or so at all, 2 or 3 where serious releases.
Dont have safety issues too much.
Interestingly the following effects are remarkable and can be reasured:
A) that at the moment of release, the bar flips away and in that moment the system is not under load any more, so safty event is somewhat like a spooling of lines, other than a sawing thing.
B) Interestingly in normal use of bar due to the dynema/dynema seat, there is nearly no abrasions at all on the sleeves of the flying lives within the micro sleeve of safety.
That is interesting, cause I ride from sand beach only - so much sandigs around. In addition, I'm flying 1,1mm flying lines, so abrasions through wear are topic. I'll make a foto of use in a while. Sandard safety systems with metal or plastic usually have (much) more, based on my experience.

So at least for foilers with their puristic bar designs and all who have somewhat like reasonable kite handling capabilities, I can recommend this tweak.
