North click bar 2017 floater fix

Postby wadmad » Fri Oct 16, 2020 2:31 pm

hi guys, i have pain how to fix eva floaters on north click bar 2017 or where to get new black floaters for 2017 north click bar.
The 1 floater are broken(you can see on pics below) but the bar fully work... i know that i can buy duotone floater but its not a solution because i prefer to repair this one or buy north floaters(black color).
Maybe someone can advise how to repair them or where to buy stock floaters?

I tried and failed to come up with a good lasting repair. Just too small to get anything to stick on that location and keep it flexible.

If you really stand on the color scheme you can try to paint the duotone floater, you need to order a pair anyway so you have a second one to try your painting skills on ;)

Any update? Do the 2019 floaters fit?

All mechanical parts fit as they only ever changed the colors besides some minor updates to the lines, new v distributor and a smaller bar.

You can mix 2021 with 2017 without any issues as long as you check that the front and back lines stay of equal length and you will need the screw on v distributor when changing to a newer set lower front lines.

They should have inserted a tiny webbing there if it's injection moulded. Have you tried to glue one?

There is not much surface area for the glue to bond anything together when it comes apart from fatigue.
