I played around with it a bit.
It is an really awesome tool.
Thank you!
But for me personally it lacks a way to create a mold.
Not sure how complex this would be to implement.
I tried to form a mold in Fusion 360, but starting from a STEP file that seems more complex than creating the wing+mold directly in Fusion.

You should try devWingmold.
It takes some time to get used to the software, but compared to the learning curve into Fusion 360, it is a joke.
Something like this takes me 30 minutes.
tks

That one does not do STEP export.
So it will be more work to setup for CAM.
And I need to add the parts to fix it to the fuselage.
Currently do my setups for a gong fuse.
So the model ends up like this
To add that to a STL will be problematic as well.

I had the same issue, so I am happy to hear someone else had the same challenge! So far I have only made wings by 3D printing a wing core and laminating this in carbon fibre.
I am also using Fusion 360 to add my Naish fuselage mount to the winghopper wings. My most recent complete wing is here -

I've just updated the site to include an easier to use interface with grouped parameters, and a MOLD BUILDER!
The mold is produced automatically by the software, and perfectly splits the wing at the Leading and Trailing edges. Check it out, let me know what you think!

Very cool ZM, can't wait to try it out. That won't be for a few months (build in winter, ride in summer) but I am looking forward to it.

Looks great Zach, only missing alignment holes for 3D printing
But I'd use it in a flash if i was using your SW for wings
I'm actually trying a technique I only just thought of in the last couple of weeks, vacuum moulding two films down over the wing sides and then potting in (very slow cure) river table epoxy resin. But for CNCing my wings that's always a messy job, especially if there is any reflex out to the wing tips. I have some techniques for it but I haven't really productionised the process yet. With 3D printing, got to use a slow cure resin to avoid warping the mould.

hi zach.
I was trying to use winghopper but it has several bugs, when using the tools to modify any parameter the screen goes white.
is there no longer an option to export the developed wing?
tks
Eric

Eric -
The app is hosted on a server which occasionally gets bogged down, sorry about that! I've just optimized the code and updated the app, give it another try!
Happy foiling!

Zach.
What a great program.
I had already made one mold of a 207 cm2 stabilizer and printing a mold for a 1380 cm2 two foil profiles, -2.5° twist, center anhedral and dihedral at the tip. Elíptical leading edge Strait trailing edge...
I take the mold to fusión 360 and cut it in pieces small enough to fit my ender 3.
Great job.
How are you planning to monetize it?
My best regards
Ignacio
