HI guys,
so I have a badly damaged Pansh 9mm 2019, used once (not me tho
.
What do you think? I even tried to replace a piece of panel, but I just don't understand how to close it with the rest of panel from inside. This piece is between hands on a pic, slightly transparent color, different than original.
Contacted factory and they are not interested to fix for any money
Thoughts?

It depends on your current location. There's a guy in Ljubljana, who had a paraglider company way back. Nowadays he is repairing kites, and when it comes to repairing foil kites, he is literaly an expert.

A bit hard to say. As a non-expert I have done some fixes on very messy internal damage to complex foils (race/freerace) and just looking at it can make your head spin (it can get very confusing when you flip the cells inside out) The trick is to do one bit at a time, like a jigsaw puzzle. Of course you will need to open up the trailing edge. Then you should get a few thin boards (I used some old lino tile bits, but thick card would work) and cover one side in thin double sided tape. You use these to line up the tears in the cloth before you cover them with bits spinnaker tape. Pretty soon you will see a recognisable kite emerging. Once you have taped up (both sides) then you can sew around the edges.
That said, the stuff around the leading edge can be hard to sew depending on exactly where it is.
For a nicer looking repair you need to replace torn areas with panels. This can be more tricky, and I would say not worth it for an old Pansh.

Ok,
cheers guys. Yeah, in AU, so thinking to sew it myself. So why would I need to open TE when I can access it through main valve (like Ozone has)?
I'm just thinking if is worth my time since wont be great sewing. And if not great will it fly good? The buddy who gave it to me said to make a smaller kite with it
Is that possible? Or not worth my time either....

It's not that hard to repair something like that. You don't open the leading edge. You open the trailing edge. Either pull the damaged part out the back and repair it, or roll the tips to the damaged cell and turn it inside out.
You can also unpick the cell so you can get full access. It's easy to sew the internal seams when it's inside out.
The cheapest easiest way to fix it is to open it up, tape it with light spinnaker tape, oversew it, close it up.

Yes you might be able to do it through the intake, but opening and closing the trailing edge is super easy so nothing to specifically avoid.
About whether it is worth it, I think you need to factor in the satisfaction of fixing stuff and the value of what you learn for future projects.

I gave mine away, luckily they cost little so no great loss. Needed a near gale to get going and wouldn’t point upwind on a foil.
