Have you tested it for kiting? How's the splicing, stretch, shrinkage, etc.?
Just dropping a link to Chinese product made for 'sea big fish' doesn't really help the community I'm afraid.

according to the specs (if we can believe in chinese seller's data
) the #50 (1.4mm) is about ~150kg/330lbs in breaking strength, which is lower than the values usually found for kite lines (~300-400lbs). I would not be concerned about using weaker steering lines or for hydrofoiling either as the loads are usually smaller. However, I'd not like to hang on a doubtly quality line for boosting on a twintip. Moreover, I don't believe these lines come pre-stretched, thus, be aware that you'll need to stretch them before using

I have in my hands SK75 1,35mm 8x line with breaking strength 280-300kg. Factory prestreched, with very low elongation and shrinkage. Nothing special, yet made in Europe.
@parun: which line did you order? Let us know how it feels when you get it.

@parun Yeah, keep us posted on that Rompin line stuff. I've noticed that they also have a 16 strand version.
https://pt.aliexpress.com/item/1005002565689302.html
I see they list it as PE line. First that was a concern. After a bit research I found most say Dyneema, Spectra, UHMWPE are all Polyethylene based. Dyneema is a type of PE. The Japanese call their lines PE. US calls them braid, Spectra or Dyneema.
Second concern is the coating. This listing does not mention any coating. Coating on kite line is important and improves abrasion resistance.
I am pretty certain that this line will need pre-stretching before use. Same was needed with Jerry Brown fishing line. Great line, but needs the pre-stretch procedure to be a solid choice.
It is certainly very tempting at this price. Can't wait on your impression on this line.

@parun Does it look like it has a coating on it? Meaning it is a bit stiff?

Not look like coating as kite line.
But no problem after I had use it.

Dyneema, Spectra, UHMWPE... I am looking for a rope for my sliding rope harness. I bought UHMWPE and it works fine but the line end can't be "melted" so that it is sealed; can someone recommend what rope would be good and one that I would be able to melt the ends?
