I lost a long foil screw that connects the mast and the fuselage (don't ask). I couldn't find locally exactly the same screw type. So, my question is that can I replace them with stainless steel screws temporarily or even for good ? I will currently only swim with my foil in a (fresh water) lake and later on in Baltic sea (brackish water). Also, I found a similar looking screws from a regular online shop but should I order one from a kite shop?

Hi!
you´re in Kallvik, Finland, right? For example this is my supplier (there are many others but sometimes it´s not so easy if you need only a few screws at reasonable price):

They will deliver in Europe but it´s getting a bit expensive then for some screws of course. I would choose A4 screws, not A2 (A4 is "more stainless").
If it´s a M8 screw it should go at least 16mm into the thread of the aluminium mast. But you will have to choose the right type and thread diameter first.

Currently at Lake Saimaa - I will be dragging the foil and myself behind a boat first
Thank you for the link and the tips, I will source locally first.
Yes, it's M8*80 mm. I got the exact replica dimension wise from nearby City of Mikkeli. The thread is 1/2 length though but the mast doesn't have threads so it shouldn't matter much if at all.
