after doing forum and google searches, Ive only found the naish btb bar to have below the bar depower with manual swivel. am i missing any other models?
secondly, anyone modded a ss guardian to do away with the shoddy "center of the universe" swivel?

Agreed, Naish is only btb trim / depower with btb swivel that I've seen. No experience with it but always wondered why it was a unicorn.
The atb swivel on the Slingshot bar could easily be eliminated but then you'd have no swivel. In its place you could be go with any number of line splitter/pulley combos such as the Ozone trim bracket.

I'm planning on building a btb bar based on the Infexion QR, which obviously has the swivel built in. Should make for a very clean setup with no heavy parts above the bar and still have trim option.

I got an Infexion qr recently, I like it so far. Have to take into consideration that it is much shorter than a regular chickenloop, so your arms will be right against your torso unless you add some extra rope to trim line.

How does this help the OP who wants a below the bar trim?
EDIT: Ah - you can buy the naish BTB cleat and combine with the excellent infexion QR:

The thing that would bother me with this solution is that when you trim it, you end up with a tail of rope that has to spin when you swivel the QR, so it is bound to get in the way...

I was just going to use a standard Clamcleat with aero base, which looks like is kind of the same thing as that Naish tingy.
