I have a mold for a 132 X 40 TT , with 4 channels in it ; want to
build it in Nomex honeycomb and S glass , so i can see the matrix
of the Nomex inside , with a bit of color tint.
Anyone here work with those materials before ; got a clue
what the lay-Up should be ? I have so many 4' X 8' panels
of 1/4" , 1/8" cell Nomex ; i can afford to burn a few in experimentation.
I also have a roll of 10-oz uni S-glass that's 50" wide ; wanna use
some of that also. I've built fake legs with it before ; it's
a dream to work with !!
Yea I'v build D-tubes for gliders with honeycomb before
so I know how to use it.
I could do the math for an 18oz on each side using E-glass and foam ; but
I'd rather talk to someone who used these materials in a TT before
first.
