Registered Kites/Boards?

Postby shawn13 » Tue Dec 09, 2014 7:56 pm

According to this list, Cabrinha Xbow kites from 2010, 2012,and 2013 are registered, but not 2011? ... cing-kites

And this states the Sector 60 V1, One and V3, but V4 and V5 are not acceptable? ... ite-boards

Is this information correct? I have a Sector 60 V5 with a 2013 xbow and my buddy has a 2012 Cab raceboard with a 2011 Cabrinha Xbow but neither of us would be able to enter a race because one of these pieces of equiptment is missed on the list?

Maybe. It's a stupid system isn't it? There used to be some kind of "any kite made pre 20xx" rule too. Basically if you're turning up to a World Cup event you wouldn't "measure". If you turn up at a locally run event, nobody is likely to care. You're not likely to be at the front of the pack with that gear so any reasonable fleet should be letting you race with that.

Anyone has the list from 2015

On the IKA website is only the list from 2014.

I sent an e-mail, but didn't get any response yet.
