Classic. Those ice hockey players are nut cases...then again you may have never watched the game we grew up playing...aussie rules footy...you Canadians would love it, except most our players still have their teeth.... :D

Nice video. But none of the jumps had any serious hight. Just normal jumps with silly board flips. And not even a kiteloop - makes me think NO chance! Great slide though

Hey Westozzy I have played it multiple times and it is definitely fun BUT it isn't the same as playing hockey! The speed and intensity of the hits are what separate this sport to any other. Getting hit by a freakin puck anywhere on the body sucks (getting it right in the face hurts like hell). It is part of our culture so we don't see it as being anything but normal, while others think that it is a violent game (it is)! My favourite aspect of this sport is in the finesse of being able to fly around other players and get those highlight goals. Being able to drop the gloves and beat the hell out of someone brings a tear to this Canadians eye... it is why most people don't like getting into a fight with us (or why we don't back down)!!!

One of my best memories at university was sitting down with two of my Canadian buddies and my brother watching ice hockey and AFL footy, explaining the two games to each other, drinking way too much beer and just shooting the shit. Even got my Canadian mate to play a season for us at the local footy club. He was a big fella so we used to just give him the ball and he'd run in a straight line taking out two or three guys trying to tackle him...was classic :D he'd always get done for holding the ball. Love ice hockey, understand the game, but there's only one sport that rules all others for watching and playing .... :D ...soccer ...bahahahaha only joking of course.
