for the majority of the tricks you have to have perfect kite control...this is why you see me progress that much, because I have an 18. I needs to sit where it should sit, move forward and loop where it needs to loop.

Those slides and walks need a loop to be landed, otherwise you don't have enough power to get back into the straps and land clean.

Not only an 18, also 32 m lines...so yes, I need space, but still no problem.

And for sure you need power for the tricks...several times I want to film and the wind is just not enough to land cleanly...so I am trying an trying. While with good power, I land the same stuff easily.

I am sure you know what I mean...try to stay upwind with not enough power...not possible.
Same for transitions etc.

Really Toby?

I see a dozen difficult technical moves here, not just a "light loop", if that's what you call a quick change of direction in the Windfensterrand. I've seen you perform live, unlike the others who are commenting and it looks HOT. But it's obvious that it takes a lot of practice and precision to generate just the right amount of power for this combo and to achieve optimal hang time. A loop would be too messy and too quick for that. The kites you learned on were way more lethal than anything today, so you may have to explain to us new generation kiters how to fly a slow 18m positioned in the "powerless" zone at 20+ knots as prerequisite for the technically difficult -- but beautiful -- moves in this combo. And don't say you looped it. You can't loop a kite this big in the lagoon! Not unless your goal is to land in the ocean on the other side!
Are you in love with the steezy Tobe meister?

No problems doing a controlled down loop on an 18m doing a water level trick

What crack are you on?
