Greetings all,
I was wondering if any of you have one of those Airstyle T-handles Toby used to sell. Or, if you all know where to purchase one or have one made.
Thanks
Lm

Check at a metal shop, if they can make you an aluminum one...and then just wrap grip tape around.

Thx Toby. Yea, that's what I was thinking. Did you have the same company fabricate the handle and wrap it with foam or was that separate companies?
cheers

It was one guy doing it at home. He worked with metal, and bought the foam.

True, 3D printer can also do it, if not what you meant.

pop
Just made from hardware store PVC and fittings. Easy to make as tall as you want, and you could make it wider by putting the mounting points inside the handle. Add some grip tape and your there.

Excellent and thanks for the input. Yes, I put one together very similar using pvc and it works great. now the only thing i need to figure out is how to wrap a thin layer of foam around it. Those things can hurt if you get knocked by the handle.
Cheers all,
Lm

looks good. But, I wonder if it is stable enough where you screw it...there are quiet some forces on the handle when you flip or spin it etc...

I had the same thought. I made a similar PVC handle but used two slip-on caps (see below) on each side where the handle attaches to the board. I drilled holes into the ends of the two caps and then screwed the caps firmly onto the board before I attached the rest of the handle using PVC cement. It's solid and very stable. But it isn't easy to remove the handle unless you cut it off.
