I have the fifty from 2014 I think, you can put boots on but it's surprisingly light, though so far it's been very durable, I honestly don't know for sure but I don't think it has a grind base to hit features, also it has more flex that you probably want.Balser Boy wrote: Thanks a lot!
Just one questione more:
Also the Nobile 50fifty is suitable to kite and park?
I'm not sure what the raised edge thing is you are referring to? Anyway wakeboards are generally built to withstand more abuse (ie more reinforcement and heavier) and have more rocker than kiteboards. More rocker gives more control at the expense of efficiency.
Sorry for going off topic, but I don't get why concave would help with upwind ability?
Can you give an example of a board with a curved edge? I would be really interested in trying one, as I've caught more back edges than is healthy for me. Every time I land blind without digging an edge I thank my personal deity.
Channels yes, not as efficient as fins, but they do provide lift. Concave, not so much. It may provide like one degree more edging than a flat bottom. Nothing significant, in my opinion.jeromeL wrote: ↑Wed May 24, 2017 6:59 pm
