I did woo3 test a couple of days ago.

Real weight would have been 7.10m +- 0.1m. Avg 7.53m and stddev 0.68m

Sounds interesting but we need a little more context! What was the set up and what is your conclusion based on only 12? Tests

Question -- what version of iOS will be supported? I got a couple of iPhone 5's that'd be perfect, but they're stuff on iOS12 or something...

I pre-ordered a case a week ago and didn't get any confirmation email. Hope it ll work out anyway. Can't wait to test it!
Same. Got an error on the form the first time though...

Hi Kamikuza en BenBen,

I've clearified the message on the website, since it does not send a confirmation mail. If you got the green box with 'your message has been send' we definitely received the pre-order.

Quickly uploaded picture from mobile as there were some talks and got busy so did not write much of an explanation what was done.

So I took fishing rod of 490cm and measured my hand reaching up with fishing rod, 220cm. I attached woo to other end of fishing rod to see how consistent it can show/keep the result. Fishing rod was flexing a bit as it was 5m light weight rod. I shaked Woo3 at other end to give water surface G-forces, then lifted up and then back down with hit to asphalt to mark end of jump. Repeated it over 10 times by feeling that now there should be enough repeats, and uploaded the log to see the result and put it on google sheets for drawing and analysis. The the attached graph was the output.

13 tests I did was good enough to check average of measures and standard deviation. Maybe more tests should have been done because I more into seeking outlier results but this time I did not get any bad. Like Session 90 jumps 5-10m then single 15m jump. Lucky jump or outlier.

Does the Woo register more errors if the speed up and down is fast? Local lads swear that a faster more explosive take off gets a higher reading compared to a gentle up and down

My only initial worry was the size of the mount, if it fits the largest smartphones it must be fairly chunky, and I'm not in love with sticking something big, to my mint condition sexy carbon board, especially as I have a relatively small phone.
If you have handle on your board you could use bicycle waterproof (real waterproof, not just splashproof) phone mount attached to handle to test the concept and widen mount options. If phone itself is not water proof maybe you could put it into additional water tight transparent bag.

https://www.amazon.com/customerpicks/Ex ... 0f29c4403a
Maybe take a plexiglass plate (light, cheap and not changing the looks of the board) or sth. similar and attach it under the handle or instead of the handle with the screws right in the middle of the board and glue the mount right there. This has a second advantage: you can easily change it to another board or your split board for traveling. I think of doing it that way.

BTW. I pre-ordered a case a week ago and didn't get any confirmation email. Hope it ll work out anyway. Can't wait to test it!
I have done this on my split board for my Piq mount. I used an door push plate (cheap 2mm aluminium section) and drilled an extra hole. The only other thing is to get slightly longer screws. My splitboard is a twin tip foil board so I didn't want a mount casing cluttering up where I wanted to put my feet when I was using it to foil with.

We did some pole dancing yesterday, to measure the accuracy of the Surfr. app. That was fun! Floris Dielen
