aluminium extrusion wing

Postby jaros » Tue Oct 29, 2013 8:41 am

The problem is finding an aluminum manufacturer that has already made such a product that we can buy without placing a large order to have it made.
I imagine something like this but with a symmetrical NACA shape and thicker wall.
That could work for a wing on a home made project?

Thanks Jaros.

I imagine a sheet metal wing will work quite well other than being a bit more prone to stalling.

I wonder if the long wing on the AquaSkipper could be used a rise/keel/t-bar or whatever that part is called.

Does anyone know the length, width, and wall thickness of an AquaSkipper wing?
