The final stop of the Kitefoil Gold Cup will be held in tropical Townsville, Queensland, Australia crowning the first ever Hydrofoil World Champion.
This is set to be a world class event with consistent SE trade winds, 28 degrees water temperatures and a sick location for racing.

On Sunday the 28th September the will be a once off 20km Long Distance Race from Magnetic Island to Townsville open to anybody.
