Whats all the fuzz about ?

I've never seen anything like this before, about a product noone (here) has ridden, it is almost like PMU's posts :naughty:

Wait and lets see how it rides - then we can complain or applause :thumb:

What is all the fuss about?
North is the leading kite board company in the world if I have my facts correct for one thing.
This is a radical new design and can and will be talked about before anyone gets to test it, normal.
Are not forums for expressing ideas right or wrong for discussion if done in a respectful way?

Then a KBHF needs a board, strut, fuse, wings, excluding mono wing designs.
I have a gut feeling the latter is holding secrets, board, strut, wing only. Even simpler.
Why add unnecessary parts?

Mahalo there,
Interesting what you guys found on the net ;-)
Thanks to take care!
I am the man behind the Owing concept, not new as it was presented
last year public at Garda's Foiling Week, to and with hard core of foiling
brains, from all around the globe!
The O wing concept kite hydrofoil is in lab for development for some years now,
it is close to come more public, just watch the blog for more info http://drlojz.blogspot.com/

touch and go

Thank You and congratulation for clarifying it since the "Winner circle" didn't :thumb:
Are you going to have the O wing concept kite hydrofoil available apart from North :?:

Thanks,

H

I can confirm, the Owing is not from North circles ;-)
I was working in the past with some of the kite brands, lets say as "behind the scene" ,
Naish, Waiman, FS, Gustykites, Nobile etc... One must to be clear, every brand name have
the Icons of the sport to grow up with the sport! No dupt here and it is good so!
Then in the step back, we are the army of designers, engineers and
prototype trouble makers as dr. is!

Wait and see if the world is round as O wing is, maybe a bit elliptical ;-)

I don't want to spoil all the fun/rants&trolling, but I think it is closer to 2 (go figure the currency).

More important is can you ride it as a nugget, so standalone board without the foil ?

There is room for this foil to be upgraded and swapped out to a higher performance setup.

From North:

"Two Tuttle boxes:
The North Kiteboarding foil has 2 tuttle boxes. The aft one works for the North Hydrofoil, while the forward one works for some popular race foils like the most recent designs from Taaroa and Spotz.
Having the tuttle box located in a more rareward position, has the advantage of facilitating the alignment of the board. Also jibing is easier due to the better stability and balance when riding."

Nice that there are some options for different setups.

2 what? Are you talking about the price? For foil only or complete?
