So is the "offset" the 3 footstrap option and "side stance" the 2 footstrap option?

And this is different from a $30 surfboard pad?

Agree, if you get it without the foot strap inserts, it's not a very good deal, but with the inserts it seems pretty useful. Without the inserts it's not any different than a $60 SUP pad.

It needs some more info in the description though, like what are the dimensions of the pad and the distance between inserts?

If I was converting a strapless board to be used with a foil I would definitely pick one of these up instead of cutting into the board to put in footsrap boxes.

Does the pad actually have inserts or just holes that align with preexisting inserts?

If the pad actually has inserts (and are strong enough to last) this is a great product!

It's got the inserts in it.

They have these stick on inserts without pads too:

Been using the stick-ons and they will not last for hydrofoiling. Mine lasted 3 months of racing, of course your mileage may vary here.

The brass insert becomes loose and eventually pops out. This is probably due to the crash loads you put into the pads when falling off the hydrofoil at speed.

I do not know if the hydrofoil pads have been toughened but it would be interesting to know.
