Pain, Pain, Pain, but it will be worth it in the end (I hope

Postby gmb13 » Thu Mar 05, 2015 8:31 pm

Today my back hurt me so much, and just as I was about to give up and fly to Germany to get cut open, our factory in Spain sends me this nice pic of the first wing from the new mould. I will have to deal with the pain a little longer so I can do the final tests of my babies.

If all final tests go well we will be releasing all our info and promotion material in 2 weeks. So stay tuned. If my back gives up, or we need to make bigger changes to the mould, then it will set us back at least 6 weeks. So wish me luck that I can keep it together.

Any suggestions on awesome painkillers that will make me not feel my ruptured disc in my back during gybes and tacks are welcome!

If we can get the foil done before I need to go into Hospital I will be looking for one or two teamrider who want to compete in the Gold Cup Series as I obviously will not be in any state to compete for at least 6 months after my Operation. This is an AR10 wing with a very low stall speed that outpoints any of the current race foils I have had the honour to test.

If you are serious and are interested in riding for Magma, then drop me a PM or email me. Sponsorship can only go as far as a free Foil at the moment.

Best wishes Gunnar,
Would you explain the new joint for the front wing?
Is the fuselage permanently bonded or screwed to the wing?
What experiences did you have that lead to using a pin between mast and wing?
Is this related to new cradle/saddle configuration at the mast-fuselage connection ?
All looks very nice.
Regards
Bill

Hi Bill,

I don't want to give anything away to soon, but it all has to do with only having one screw to hold it all together.

I will be releasing all promo material as soon as we get our final testing, videos and pics done.
