Can't understand it either especially coming from North. Feels like some brands are simply competing for the highest price.spacemonkey wrote:TRied this foil yesterday...i'd say: stay well clear of this foil.
It's sooooo slow and boring.
I come from a moses silente and taaroa sword. I know it's for beginners, but fot that price, there are better options. It feels like something is dragging around underneath.Like cutting a piece of meat with a blunt knife, compared to my Taaroa which is more like a Global chef's knife, slicing thru with minimal effort...
Peter - full agreement. I hope to see a delta shape back in a trend.Peter_Frank wrote:I believe that most of the new hydrofoilers, will NOT be kiteracers (like most of the first has been), but some who wants the feel, the fun, the amazement, and the agility to turn on a dime and ride waves
Agreed but ideally when you want to change your foil to match conditions or style, its a simple matter of swapping out the front wing. North will require you to switch fuselage, front, and rear wing as they have made it all one piece. I have three wings to choose from for my Alpine based on conditions or purpose.Peter_Frank wrote:I honestly think most kitesurfers are aiming for the wrong foils....
Maybe just me, but being a "non-racer" and waverider/freestyler, it is a turnoff with all these "fast*" foils that everybody is talking about

Maybe just me I know, so who cares what I think
