I like using a board with float- Surfboard as opposed to a twin tip- so that its easier to swim back in if need be. Other option is to buy a nobile split surf board
I have been using a 120 x 50 x 4cm Board for some time.
As a travel board this is awesome as its small and light.
It still has a decent amount of volume for it's size.
hey JD it could be either way if someone wanted it. and long as the I put alittle extra beef in the middle for long board boxes.. unless I can find the new track system like snowboards.

I do have a question about your kiteskate. Can that be build for a hydrofoil (I'm thinking a four bolt mount)?
If yes, would the mount be in a fixed position, or could it be on two parallel tracks to give some adjustment options?
Has anyone mounted a garden-variety wakeskate to a foil? Any issues with durability, float, or finding proper drilling placement for the plate? Thinking about doing this with a Lift foil and a $100 WS.
I was thinking more of a laminated wood core wakeskate, with an aluminum plate on top to distribute the forces (and nuts for threading and holes through the deck for the bolts).
