So I damaged(snapped) one of the bridal lines last session and i dont want to miss out on a session tomorrow while i wait for a new bridal to arrive.. Do you recon I could repair it with some strongish fishing line for 1 session? I dont know where I could get thin enough rope off hand..

theoretically might work. This is the stuff you are trying to replace :

if the breaking strain is up to it then could be a plausible temporary fix

Keep a spool of 300 lb Jerry Brown one line and some white spinnaker tape on hand and you can pretty much save your session on a foil kite

why are you repairing it with fishing line or 0.3mm amsteel. Just get some ordinary kite line splice it to the right length and fix it with that. There's no harm in having a bridle too thick. Of course if your entire bridle is 1.75mm dyneema then there will be so much friction in the bridle that the kite won't fly right but you can absolutely fix a bridal if you replace a single line with an extra thick one as long as it physically will fit into the pulley you should be fine.

I believe the strength of those bridal lines is around 100 pounds/ 50 kilograms working strength. Just go to wallmart find some 1/8th inch / 3mm nylon rope that will be much stronger than you need but should work fine, with rope that much over-strength you don't even have to splice just make some figure 8 loops of the right length. Or you can wait for the new bridle. I've made these kinds of repairs right on the beach, it's perfectly ok to have thicker lines than you are supposed to. It's not dangerous to be too thick and over-strength. It's only dangerous to replace that line with something understrength
