Thought it would bee cool to see some pictures of foil and board combinations. Whether you built a full custom foil set up or just found a combo that you like. The stanger the better!

I am currently riding a John Bellacera foil bolted to an old 43 inch wake skate. It is by far the most fun I have had yet under a kite. The whole set up can take a real beating.

Solid aluminum fuselage and mast head mount and just as light as my friends zeko carbon foil and pocket board.

The wake skate

I love riding this tiny board!!!! It is so responsive to shifts in weight and really lets me carve strapless. I have the foil mounted pretty far back on the board and it works very well.
I am also loving the flat deck of the board. It sticks to my feet when I go weightless to shift stance and jibe. The grip tape keeps things really simple! There is something amazing about getting up on foil and having such a small platform beneath you.

May I ask what are the wings made from?
Found it,
The wings are epoxy core with an alloy mesh, glassed with uni-direction cloth/ epoxy and feature a hard shell finish.
Any chance of a better photo of "hard shell finish"?

The boards you built are very impressive. I can only imagine the amount of work it took to finish.

Have you thought about what you would shoot for if you built a strapless platform?

I am looking to build a simple wooden board about a foot longer than the wake skate pictured above.....Less rocker under foot, with a gradual curve towards the nose. I few inches wider as well.
