Do you ride a different foil in the ocean from flat water?

In the ocean with breaking waves on the big days you have a lot of white water where your foil wants to stall.

Does anyone ride a lower aspect foil in the ocean to counter stalling? Does it matter?

Length of the strut should be important as well in waves. Longer one will force you to get deeper to waterstart but will be more forgiving once out.

YES I think it matters even though here in the Med we do not have waves and white water very often, but when we do it is never "clean" so yes longer STRUT, 1m, and lower AR F wing seems to help as well as flying lower to try and keep the wings in as non turbulant H20 as possible.
Helmet helps for the head when getting out and comming in and crashes, just in case of random event.

White water is fun to ride, it is like riding on the water with a lot of bump.
But due to very high level of ventilation and cavitation, you should ride more straight up to prevent .
For the rest, low or medium AR wings works better, but the ability of the rider is the most important
