I only foilboard in winds under 20K and use a 6m kite on a Sword 2 with speed wing. Although I own 5 and 4m kites If it is stronger I would rather ride a surfboard.

I have a Levitaz Aspect 3.0 with a 4.0 meter Cabrinha Switchblade on 15 meter lines, that handles 15 to 35 mph winds.
I also have a Cabrinha Relaunch 2.5 meter, that works for me from 20 to 40 mph.
We haven't had stronger winds than 40mph in the last 6 months.
I love foiling in high winds, :)

Loving foiling on small kites too!
4m Ozone Enduro, 5m Ozone Prototype Chrono (a beast, never released for reasons, but loving it), 6m Ozone Enduro are my preferred kites for foiling at the moment.
Easily starting in about 15 knots (lower if pushing it) and basically open top end (at least when comparing to other kiters in general, I feel like whenever anybody is still riding then I can be foiling too, of course too much is too much and too stormy gusty is too stormy gusty).
Small kites give me an enormous wind range to be comfortable in. Plus something extra on low end and top end if pushing it.

3M2 Naish Cult with moded loaded 5th line, only because it was so cheap from a friend on 20 m lines, liked my North Vegas 5m2 much better but she got used to death!
Low AR 3.5 F wing DIY KBHF from 2010.
Can handle up to 50 knots but is only fun up to 45.
Please understand I choose to live in a confirmed HIGH wind area so one gets used to it.
Because strong wind is almost always gusty it can be fun to have to be really "in the moment" to keep on foil when doing some semi advanced moves and crashes are part of the game.
I would never even consider having either foot in any strap when foiling in strong gusty wind, F foot hook only for water start if needed and then strapless for safety.

A 5m chrono?!?! That looks wicked. I bet it's a handful in gusty 30kts breeze.

Foiling in high wind is great with high aspect wings. Amazing acceleration.

It is a protoype of the first Chrono, it is a beast.
Makes sense it was never released.
But I like it!
:)

Cheers,
Frank

My strongest winds kite would be the Ozone Enduro 4m at the moment though.
Here a few pics from the last session, but still far from the top end wind limit.
