Fun Summertime Wave foiling in Maui

Postby alex a » Tue Jul 26, 2016 6:30 pm

Maui usually has allot of wind in the Summer months and you can find a few small waves to play around on but you will usually need a small kite. Here I am riding my 4M North Neo...Great wave kite for foiling in High winds! Check the tides before riding...

I am using 21m lines in this vid. The camera line mount I made is a bit awkward as you can see I am always looking at the kite trying to keep it in a good flying pattern but it gets good angles. Today the water was so clear and smaller waves , that i thought i was going to hit bottom. I'll try and make a video showing the reef as it really looks cool from the line mount on the really clear water days over here on Maui.
