Ive been out on my CA wave 4,5 once in good conditions. 22 knots+
Using 23 m lines. I can't imagine using on much shorter, the kite is so fast through the window.
It's really different kind of animal compared to my Hyperlink 7m.
I'm looking forward to using it more.
Yes - the CA Wave 4.5, or 3, or Pulsion 3.69. Ben’s site is well below par, but the kites are fantastic.
I had 2 foiling sessions so far on the CA Wave 4.5. One of them, winds were gusting to nearly 40 mph. Never a problem, very comfortable, no worries. Self landing can be a bit challenging in high winds.
A big advantage IMO is that the Wave is not too fast/sensitive in a storm, and gives you more time to react. This is a big plus if you ask me, compared to say Peak4 3m or a small LEI, where you only blink and the kite is already on the other side of the wind window.
Thinking my choice will be a Concept Air for a high-wind kite for foiling, we'll see.
Lucky to be getting together with Ben mid-week and if the winds cooperate we'll do some riding and I'll get to test out the latest toys.

He is also bringing some Fireflys. Make sure you try them.
