Thanks for the additional input guys. The lakes over here are frozen or freezing over already so I will not get a chance to give you suggestions a shot until next season. In the meantime hopefully we'll get some usable snow so I can get some snowkiting in.

Happy Holidays and all the best to you for 2017!

Our unofficial photographer managed to snap a couple of shots when I was on foil last week. Still trying to get to the point of where I can ride both ways non-stop without falling. Haven't started working on reversing direction yet... that seems like it's going to be really difficult!

Thanks again to all those that have replied with tips and encouragement! :thumb:

Got back out for an hour or so after work today for a nice solo sunset session. I didn't make much progress but I did get rides equivalent to where I was at the end of last season. I seem to stay on foil longer with my right foot forward than with my left. On the left I ended up porpoising out more often. Unsure if it was due to my back foot location or hip fore-aft. Will keep practicing until the weeds make it impossible. i love how little wind is needed once you get on foil. Peace.

The porpoising might be from riding to slow and stailing the wing .
