I can routinely hit 10meters on ghost whisper FR wing and 12m CORE xr5...
My problem getting more height is as follows:
- if I am under-powered I try to go fast and the foil starts "boiling", becomes unstable and ejects me when I send the kite.. I tried 3 sets of wings, sanding wings/mast, etc but it's still there.. maybe it's my technique?
- if I am overpowered I can do ~12meters on 12m xr5 but I get tired after a few tacks as my waist harness keeps riding up since I ride with kite at 12 most of the time..

anyone with similar issues?

it looks like your technique issue and if whisper wings are shape of the Moses ones than i would say it is your technique.
I've probably used all Moses wings for jumping and have never noticed such issue.

Why not to try a seat harness?

One more thing: stronger wind then kite lower. Keeping at 1200 is pointless and might be dangerous.
The most safest place for a kite in the strongest overpowering gusts is 2-5m above water. NOT IN THE ZENITH.
There is not too much pleasure to foil with a kite @ 1200 anyway.

Jumping on the foil is so addictive. I use Edge’s (9 & 11m) on 25M lines. And a Flysurfer Soul 12M for light wind on 17m lines. I have a SYNC board and Moses 637 on a 101. No different than going big on a tt, I go out on as big a kite as I can handle I.e. super powered. I fly the kite exactly like I do with a tt. My foil set up is just slightly heavier than my tt. That is very important to minimize the swing weight. Once you have the right gear the technique is very similar. Ride fast upwind, Edge hard. Load the front lines, pop off the chop and fly! Fun, fun, fun!

Totally agree, it also doesn't hurt to immediately put another 2-3m on your highest twintip jump right away. Went out on my new 15m R1V2 today for the first time and sent it...easily the highest jump I've ever done, wasn't blowing more than 15kts. Crazy...

This jump wasn’t super high but gives you a feel for landing and riding off. In this clip I did a down loop at the end. It was blowing around 17-20 mph and my highest jump that day was low 40’s I think. Not super freak material but not bad for an old guy. Hopefully this helps the gent who was asking about landing.

Great thing about the foil boosting is you can do 50 feet in high teens kts wind. So much less drama than 25 to 30 kt boosting....I'm too old for it :-)
