holy moly...now that's a great invention! So happy there are people not listening to others!
A snap on to your twintip...that is so smart!
Great work...and the riding looks pretty relaxed.

Did I miss the jibes? Can you change direction gliding on the foil?

Nope, no changes in direction in the video.
I am sure it will come with time, although it might be a bit tricky.

If you want to change direction whilst foiling without doing a carving turn, you need to get your board speed to 0, and then reverse.
There will be a point where the foil won't lift you anymore, and you will have to rely entirely on the kite. A foiling tack on a twin-tip hydrofoil will probably be something similar to a tiny jump transition where the foil doesn't leave the water.

If (or for people with the wrong... sorry, I mean a different opinion: when) twin-tip foiling catches on, foiling tacks will be commonplace. A bit like some of those fancy tricks every advanced ride can do today, that were a thing of the imagination 10 years ago.

Well, they seem to have no problem jumping and landing, so you could just do a front-side ollie 180 on the downwind leg of your carve turn. No different from a normal TT.
