Just a tought what sharks might think about the pretty loud whistling noise and the vibration of the mast? Would it attract them or what? What's your take on it?

there is no doubt that sharks chase foils without the vibration

i get three reactions from sharks,
-they hear me coming and dart away, the majority i would say
-ive only had two chase me for a second that I've seen, i think they saw the foil and assumed it was a fish, even then they only chased me for a 1/2 a sec and veered off
-they ignore me completely, and I've even hit two actually, they were probably just as freaked as i was, like those that chase me extreme minority
they hear my carbon foil which i don't really here and my aluminum zeeko foil, which sings
and when i board slap on the water they really mostly dart away also

My zeeko alloy does not whistle at this stage. It has on very odd occasions stars off with a hum just after it lifts but disappears once a little bit more forward speed.
Maybe I am lucky for now.
A friend has a full carbon foil ( not zeeko) and it is like a whistling duck and yet two others who have the same brand foil have no noise from their foils at all.
