It would be interesting to know rider weights when using the Spitfire.
If a 50 kg rider finds it has a different wind range, then that would tend to indicate that the wing sizes can be scaled for different rider weights.
It may be more complicated than just scaling though....

I have successfully made it through the holiday period without typing out my credit card number for one of these. It was close a couple times though.
It is crap season for foiling around here anyway, gusty frontal winds. Once the temperatures warm up and the conditions are friendlier, I'll foil more and do some experimenting with switching around stringy wings. By then, I figure someone else may have blazed the trail. I am in process of grinding out some G10 wings as a DIY project....maybe make a 2nd set with smaller wings for this canard play time.
Keep on posting those first hand reports....the info and feedback is very much appreciated.

or did i just have a shit session in 12 knots and a slow 12m?
not really sure of it yet...
I had no issues in 8 to 10 knots on a 17 Cloud going healside (still working out the nuances to get consistent toeside).... a little over-powered is all.

So out comes the Zeeko Spitfire for some play time in Qatar, conditions 12-13 knots kite 7 metre airush Wave and rider weight post Christmas 90KG, this foil loves to carve really enjoyed throwing it into the turns, what I will say thou is changed out for a 9 metre lithium and man the slower kite takes a little getting used to as the foil much prefers a faster kite to get those toe side carves dialed in. Overall pretty impressed so far and will hope to get out again tomorrow on it for a little more detailed review. Like everybody has been saying super stable at speed but at low speeds does suffer with the heavier rider. I ride Strapless to help with getting the balance right with the foil.

Why the name Spitfire ? A spitfire has the large wing in front. It does not fit the canard definition.

"Spitfire" is a cool awesome name for something that is super agile, isnt that the most important ?
If it was called a "missing-my-butt-flying-goose" it would not be as catchy, right

For those riding the Spitfire and Air Race board - are you finding you need to move the mast further forward than the 27.5cm as recommended ?
Maybe I'm trying to ride it with old habits but I moved the plate full forward today and that made life much easier - managed consistent foiling runs both heel and toeside but before that it was a mess. Ive set the front straps to the forward most holes but thinking of doing away with them tomorrow to help find the balance point.
