It all makes a lot of sence; the only thing that makes a large front wing more desireble is: the mast and small wing make turbulence to the main (rear) wing and therefore is not the most eficient.

The claims are that the foil has 30% more lift and less drag. (Albeit maybe less drag from smaller wings)
I'd like to have a fix that would do that to my car's efficiency.

Thanks for the answers Nicolas - and for bringing the Spitfire to market so quickly. The tests will answer a lot of questions.

Hi Guys,

To make the review video more comprehensive and useful for anyone it would be great if you can post your questions about the spitfire here if they have not already been in the thread.

Questions so far:

Bletti:

How different is tacking and gybing compared to a race foil and other wave foils?

Does it feel sluggish like other aluminum foils?

How does it feel strapped vs strapless?

Does it feel different or better jumping with it?

Mossy:

Is it more or less pitch sensitive than a standard front wing design?

Does it overfoil at higher speeds?

Ronnie:

How consistent is the pitch stability as the AOA is changed?

How consistent is the pitch stability at different speeds?

Do the wings 'pump' in the same way as with a conventional foil?

Does it feel different or better jumping with it? Can you smash it into the ground a few times at full speed and see how durable it is?

Which wing will stall first when you go too slow ? And does it matter much on a hydrofoil ?

As this is a thing aircraft take into the design, so the front wing stalls first and the plane will autorecover from a stall.

On a hydrofoil we might most likely prefer a different response than on a plane, or it is not important in the same way

Gunnar,

How about a comparison between a standard wave orientated foil, say Moses fluente', and the spitfire.?

Pros cons
