Unscrewing/screwing 5 small allen key screws to swap wingsets vs 2 large allen key bolts to swap fuselages is a difference of minutes.
Do it few times in tall grass while re-applying Tef-gel and then tell me how many screws did you loose while in hurry to get on the water. 2 big screws are easy to keep track of, plus that way I can drain and rinse the mast as well. If I use electric screwdriver is very fast and because of the size of those screws stripping socket is impossible.
Kiting isn't a f1 pitstop
You obviously don't kite on lunch breaks. In my area, lunch is usually the only time there is any wind during most of the year.

Again, nothing is stopping you from spending 400 euros on a new fuselage, but if time is that important I'd recommend spending 230 on a whole seperate plate and mast (and maybe board) that you that you don't have to t-gel and have more of your lunch break to kite!! :D :D :D

OK then. I'll just get lots of spare screws for wings

A small tupperware box or plastic bag should do the trick! I travel plenty on my motorcycle and haven't lost the original bolts or screws yet! :D

Updated data sheets - which include the XLW.

Nicolas, is there a difference in the effectiveness of the XLW wings compared to the original wings, when pumping the foil?

I'm curious why the carver with a lower area has a take off speed of 5 knts vs the xlw taking off at 7kts? I would have expected a larger drop in minimum takeoff speed.

^I think because making the main wing big enough for lower speed takeoff would make it slow to steer so less good for waves and carving, based on what Nicolas wrote...

But's that's exactly what the "Carver" wing is for and excels at it while starting slow. Fair enough, I just figured since the canard has both positive lift wings and the XLW wings have larger area than the Carver it should start slower (assuming similar aerofoils, AoA, lift efficiency, etc...). There are the normal wings for very good carving and control on waves so I'd expect a sharper designed contrast in start speed for the light wind small wave specific wings while still retaining decent to great carving performance. I guess it will be good to test them back to back.
