It's is a little bit harder than with a convetional foil, but if you are fast enough with switching feet and you have enough height over the water to play with it's doable.

Does anyone have any advice for switching your foot stance on the Spitfire?
Here, he is using the Spitfire XLW on a strapless pocket board.

Hi

with a conventionnal foil (main front wing) you need before switching feet to pull down your front foot, to make the board going down during the switch (as the board naturally want to climb)
With a spitfire foil, before switching feet, you need to pull down your back foot to make the board goiing up during the switch (as the board natually want to go down with a spitfire foil).

What is also good ith this foil is you can use it as it is with a SUPfoil board
here is an example below with a 6'7 board.

That, and also NOT MUCKING AROUND!
Being committed to it, no hesitation, etc... Deweight the board while the kite goes up (can also slightly go upwind to increase line tension), kick on the back foot, and there's a second or two of weightlessness where flying foot switch can happen. A short mast tends to require more precision/ faster execution, cause the margin is tighter. Good to have some bumps on the board so that your feet can find their way home quickly.
Had a handful of successful ones on flat water with the XXLW wings. I start to see the light at the end of the tunnel!
