I've been riding my v1 for last three years (first on original Vega tire, then Hoosier slick and now on Burris treaded) and I owned the Pint for a month so here are few drops of mustard on the Pint cake:
- smaller diameter tire makes you feel way more bumps and cracks on the pavement
- LEDs are not as bright and don’t lit the road as much as v1 does
- Bluetooth connection is weaker and just drops when riding so you don’t get speed nor battery readings nor the warnings. Future motion has been fighting this issue in XR, pushed back on the repairs (but if you insisted they repair it for free within warranty). This alone made me return my Pint
Great and greater things about Pint are:
+ more round tire allows you to carve amazingly easy
+ 750W motor rocks in acceleration
+ awesome LED indicator on top of the front plate shows battery and sensor status
+ average top speed is higher (but pushback is way more powerful too)
+ slightly more battery range
+ much better grip tape on plates (and nice angled plates)
+ no longer you’re asked “did you make it yourself?” - which for commercial product is a funny comment. Though my son told me that “v1 looks better because it looks like you made it yourself”
+ the fender looks like it belongs to it and is done right
