Exactly! Although I like to stream lines out first rather than trying to do it fast as the kite drifts back.

ive launched my foils AT sMATHERS many times without issue. the problem with Smathers is sewage. don't go there with a cut or wound. also, on all occasions I've gone to Smathers ovet the past 15 years, the people on the beach do some really stupid things. and...if there are several kites there, it is very dangerous to launch and land.
