I would not really consider the Comet a cruising foil. The Vorrace Sport sounds more like what you are looking for.

I'm a beginner, session 14 today on 2016 Fluente with 548 wing. It was difficult 5 sessions ago, now it feels easy.

Hi Gunnar,

Quick question, I have a Moses Fluente but I am a heavy rider and at 225lbs I don't feel like the front wing is generating enough lift for the foil to get up. Speed is not the problem as I went at a speed that should generate the lift. I also tryed to move my back strap all the way back but it did not feel anymore lift. I foiled 10 years ago with the Carafino and wanted to try the new equipment but I'm kind of frustrated right now, and I'm wondering if i have a missfit in my gear.
Is it possible that the wing is too small for my weight?

Right, two different things but, just to clarify, they are connected. The higher the stability, the higher the resistance and viceversa.
Just like with the kites, the more stable, slower. More unstable, faster.
The designer has to trade-off among the two for tuning the foil for a specific pitch performance (matter of physics :-? ).
