Autoclaved high modulus carbon?
Papier mache?
Cast pot metal?
What is the secret?
"secret" most likely slave labor
Nope. Most likely absence of sponsored riders, marketing, distributor expenses, and dealership fees. Holy Moly, LF carbon fuselage alone retails for more than that, and what is fuselage, carbon tube? For the reference carbon tubes run $20 per meter on aliexpress.
I would buy one as soon as I master gybes (because learning on high aspect ratio wing makes little sense).
You are way off in thinking that those things cause a large jump in the cost of your product.

We must pray that China makers will start to do hydrofoils and kites equipment quickly. Now you paying not for kite mostly but for pr of new products and clips. Few lucky guys spending weeks in some beuatiful places spots with all inclusive, enjoying time with new equipments, few hipsters doing recording with drones and their all those holidays are incalculated in your new kite price. Still these clips looks mostly banal.

No flanges on this pic
Only mast looks like a CF. The wings and plate definitely not....

Hmm
I am just contemplating to order one. No GST (VAT or tax), for us in AU. Gotta love living here
One buyer already
The seller might not deliver in time if production not dialed in.

I'll chip in $5 for the first person to buy one and video how unstiff and flimsy the build is. If it's more ridged than a carofino I'll up it to $10 but I doubt they have a refined enough business plan to value repeat customers after shit hits the fan. It might look like carbon but I'd rather buy a used liquid force to get my foil feet wet.
At least with how little is known thus far.

It will be interesting to see if any feedback eventually gets back. They seem to be a legitimate company on AliExpress, shows as 3 years in business, 350 products for sale, "China's #2 fin supplier". But definitely pretty hard to tell what's beneath the gloss coat on those shiny wings.

Do it Dean. Then I can have a look at it too and decide whether to take the risk

Yeah, that shot is even more Sketch! Check the photoshop fill in the upper right. You know its bad when you use the remains of some previous spray paint "100% carbon" work on the concrete as your background fill!
Tegir, you should stick it to all those pros and marketing guys and buy one. Maybe don't venture too far off shore!

Making surfboard fins vs building and testing a kite foil are a few orders of magnitude more complex. It could be built really well and tested and refined so no one knows till someone buys one. So who's going to be the test pilot??
