On my second Vega. Perfect balance for me. I run an NP Halo bar though because I cannot stand inadvertent loop unhooks.

I tried the nitrous shorts and wasn't a fan. You wear them instead of boardshortz, but t hen after your session you have to keep you harness on. Also, the hook seemed too low for me. On gusty boosting days, I felt like it was hurting my back. It would yank my hips out from under my lower back. All depends on what works for you.
I use a Dakine Nitrous for twin tip. I wear trunks under it, so I can take it off when I’m done. Problem solved.
I used to use a waist harness for twin tip, but I broke a rib a few years back and wearing a waist harness tight still hurts.
Agree that the Nitrous hook is low. I don’t like it for foiling for that reason. I use a Dakine Pyro, worn loose to protect my ribs, for foiling. I foil underpowered and don’t jump, so wearing it loose isn’t a problem.
