And what is the sweet spots you like flying those kites in.

Mine is as follows.

12 chrono 8-12 knots
10 edge 10-15 knots
8 catalyst 13-20 knots
6 reo 18-25 knots
4 uno 25-35 knots
This variety is fascinating. Can you elaborate on foil/board (s) you use with these kites?

I'm fully fucked on my 12 Chrono at 16 knots on my foil.
2 years ago, I'd be on my 6m dice in 16 knots of wind. Now I'm happy on the 15m sonic2 in 16 kts. Probably 3x as much projected area!

The newer race kites are easier to ride with more power. Sonic2 is a lot easier to ride powered and fast than sonic 1 was.

Short lines allow you to ride with more power also. When I've tried slower foils (Cabrinha, LF fish, MHL) I rode them with large kites, but it's not much fun. The MHL would go a bit faster with power, but for the Cabrinha and LF, nothi my happened when you add more power.

Moses Fluente with 550/330 wings, 78-80 kgs

North Mono 12. 10-14 knots
Mono 9. 12-15 knots
Mono7. 15-20 knots
all Mono get used equally.

Ozone Reo 5 ( never used it yet). Hope to use in 18+ but suspect I need a 6.

Its my own build. Wings are loosely based on Moses fluente. I'm in a wave location. So most of the time when its windy I have swell/chop/waves to contend with. Face powerfull high aspect kites are a nightmare in big swell, Its fare better to have fast turning big depowering kites in the big waves!

The quiver also works for my none foil kitesurfing needs which is boost intermediate winds and wave ride crazy winds. Plus it suits my land kiting needs which is big floaty jumps in light winds on the landboard. Then kitebugging in sand dunes in higher winds.

my biggest is a Hyper Link Ozone 9m. foiling in 8 knt avg, 74 kg. amazing kite, have got rid of my 15 chrono,, if I was racing would have kept it.... HL kite produces more power than my 12m enduro! other kites for foiling, 7m, 9m Reo. foil is a Ketos easy foil

You asked the same a year ago plummet, but maybe you want a "new" update, as some has changed gear of course, and there are many new hydrofoilers now too :D

Whats your hf kite quiver?

8) PF
This is great! :)

My quiver changed quite a bit.

My current quiver with estimated windranges I currently use them the most (but not only):
9m Ozone R1 <15kts (19m and 14m lines)
7m Ozone R1 13-20kts (14m lines)
6m Ozone R1 15-25kts (14m, 12m and 10m lines)
6m Ozone Enduro 20-30kts (14m and 12m lines)
4m Ozone Enduro 30-45kts (14m lines)

I am 85kg.

Cheers,
Frank

And this is what I mostly used the last few months and most likely the next few winter months to come:

19m R1 <12kts (18m and 14m lines)
17m R1 8-16kts (14m lines)
9m Hyperlink 12-25kts (14m lines)
7m Hyperlink 20-30kts (12m lines)
5m Hyperlink 25-45kts (12m lines)

Wind ranges are not what is possible, but how I use them mostly.

I still own, but haven't ridden in a while, smaller R1s, 5m Edge and 4m Enduro.
On Moses hydrofoils mostly, all of them ;)

Cheers,
Frank
